Casio is back with a new Pro Trek lineup smartwatch, the WSD-F20A. As the name implies, this version is designed for hikers and other wearers who have interaction in outdoor adventures. The pro Trek features a round screen and, amongst different matters, Google’s wear OS platform. Customers get access to excessive sturdiness and offline maps. Casio’s USP is that it’s actually packing dual 1.32 inch 320×300-pixel dual layer displays. A color TFT LCD and monochrome LCD. Using the monochrome LCD display to ‘sip’ battery provides up to a month of battery life in ‘timekeeping’ mode. Of course, using the full-color display and GPS will drastically reduce battery life to fall in line with other similarly powered Wear OS smartwatches.

In addition to the general features you get with Wear OS, the new Pro Trek makes it easy to access maps and download them for use offline in places where connectivity is unavailable. Casio says it struck deals with “nine major app companies” to offer sports and outdoors apps on the watch, as well, all of them found in a dedicated “Featured Apps” section.
Among those apps are Fishbrain, ViewRanger, and Hole19, but the company didn’t detail the other products. Other features include a low-power GPS mode that works with full-color maps to navigate in offline status.
