Optoma released its latest addition to the high-performance ProScene product range – the WU1500, a fully-featured installation projector. ProScene WU1500 built for demanding professional applications where image quality, performance and reliability are paramount.
The WU1500 dual-lamp WUXGA projector is the brightest in the ProScene range, delivering 12,000 lumens at the centre of the image, 5000:1 contrast deliver vivid, crystal-clear images, while dual lamps with lamp relay and 24/7 operation provide ultimate reliability, verifying that this is a projector in which you can have complete confidence.
Both lamps can be operated together to deliver the maximum brightness, or alternatively the ‘lamp relay’ function can used to the alternate between individual lamps, effectively doubling the interval before lamp replacement is required. In the event of lamp failure, the new projector can continue operating on the remaining lamp, providing an additional level of resilience.
The dust-sealed, filter-free design prevents dust and dirt from affecting the optical system, ensuring optimal picture quality with minimal maintenance requirements. Motorized lens shift, zoom and focus combined along with 360 degree operation and interchangeable color wheels provide total flexibility for simple, trouble-free installation. A choice of six(6) premium-quality lenses, from wide focus through to extra-long zoom means that the new WU1500 can be adapted to cover almost any projection distance.
One of the key additions to this model is the inclusion of HDBaseT connectivity, enabling the transmission of high-definition video, audio and control signals over a single CAT6 cable.
The WU1500 is fully compatible with AMX, Extron, Crestron and PJ-Link protocols, allowing comprehensive control of almost all the projector’s functions over a network.
