Sennheiser has just announced the launch of PC 373D, its latest and most advanced headset for competitive PC gamers featuring the 7.1 Dolby Surround Sound and a copious amount of velvet.
The fancy new headset will be available for £209.99 starting this month on its website and a selection of online retailers. This headset gives you 7.1 Dolby Surround with the company’s ‘unique transducer tech’ ensuring clarity and accuracy of sound placement, the latter being particularly critical when it comes to the competitive gaming, of course. The sleek Surround Dongle and user-friendly software perfectly optimizes the experience for the immersive gaming, and even music. The superior features of the PC 373D are matched by its style and comfort to increase your gaming experience, even after hours of playing.
The new flagship headset comes along with a noise-canceling microphone and what Sennheiser is calling an “optional noise reduction algorithm.” There are plush velvet ear pads over the aluminum ear cups, and volume controls are embedded in the right ear cup. The company says that the aluminum will help keep your ears cool, while the velvet will cover them in a luxurious fabric
The PC 373D also includes a Surround Dongle which lets you switch between stereo and surround sound at the press of a button. You can raise the boom arm to mute your mic, which is a nice touch, and a software equalizer lets you switch between preprogrammed modes for e-sports, music, and gaming. Sennheiser says the PC 373D will be available this month for $209.99 on its website.
